Design and Modeling of a Robust Sensorless Control System for a Linear Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

The paper is concerned with designing an effective controller for a linear tubular homopolar (LT-H) motor type. construction and operation of the LT-H are first described in detail. Then, model represented direct-quadrature (d-q) axes order to facilitate design control loops. designed system consists two main loops: current loop velocity adaptation loop. determination regulator’s gains accomplished through deriving analyzing transfer functions To enhance system’s robustness, robust variable estimator observe stator resistance. Different performance evaluation tests performed using MATLAB/Simulink software validate controller’s robustness variable-speed load force changes as well. obtained results reveal appropriate dynamics thanks well-designed system.
